Case Study: Esther

Esther weighed only 13lbs when she was rescued from a pit latrine. Her mother was mentally unstable and when she could no longer feed Esther, she thought she would just dispose of her.
The person who found Esther thought she was a young baby and took her to the police who in turn took her to New Hope. It was later discovered that Esther was actually over a year old! Thanks to the love of New Hope and Esther having a sponsor through Abigail Ministries she has grown into a bright, adorable, happy little girl.
